Shipping policy

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Mookaite online shop uses Swiss Post and DHL services  for Swiss deliveries, and Chronopost France for delivers going to the EU and non EU countries.  Delivery signatures are required for orders outside of Switzerland. Taxes vary from country to country. Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Our delivery time starts from the moment payment for your order is processed. Your item will be dispatched within 24 hours. Please note this can take longer during busy periods, national holidays, or extraordinary situations when it can take up to 48 hours for shipments to be dispatched. Orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the next working day.

·       Standard Shipping is free worldwide. Expected delivery 2-3 days for Switzerland, 3-6 days in the EU, and the rest of the world delivery is between 7-15 days.

·       Express delivery is available for CHF 66, for 1–2-day delivery in Switzerland only

We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Please note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with your trackingdetails. If you have not received your delivery after the expected delivery date, please contact us at: contact@mookaite.ch so that we can track your order for you.

PACKAGING

Each Mookaite product is packaged in silk paper and then in one of our signature packages, The items are then boxed in a packaging to ensure safe transit.

FAILED DELIVERY

We will deliver the goods to the delivery address specified when you place your order. Please be accurate when you provide your address details as we will not be liable if the address you provided is incorrect.

OWNERSHIP

You will own the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified and when we have received cleared payment for the goods in full. Until that time we will retain title to the goods.

TAX

Prices on our website are shown inclusive of Swiss VAT (value added tax).

For online purchases within Switzerland, there are no customs fees. 

for delivery outside Switzerland we use French post to ship, and  depending on the country you may be subject to import duties and taxes. Your final invoice amount does not include any VAT or customs fees that may apply within your country. These eventual fees are paid by the buyer. 

Please note that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. You are considered the importer of record for items you order through our website and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the items are to be delivered. Most destinations are shipped to on a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be excluded in the final payment invoice.

Once your order arrives at its destination you may be required to pay import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, and they remain the responsibility of the customer.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made securely online by PostFinance SA. If you are shopping from outside Switzerland, when you place your order your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

To ensure that you will not experience any delays to your order, please make sure all your details are entered correctly. 

FREE DELIVERY

We offer free delivery in Switzerland and worldwide.

Satisfied or Refunded

Exchange or return free of charge within Switzerland, provided the items have not been worn, damaged or stained within 5 days of delivery.
