Our story

It all started with a business meeting over an entire different topic. Neither one of us expected the meeting to turn into a passionate conversation over Art & Fashion.  In fact, we were competitors in our professional careers, but share the love of scarves and art.

Our experience in delivering high touch services, combined with our own personal desires for a more creative lifestyle set us off on a new adventure. Mookaite by Ana & Jarina was born.

The designs of our silk scarves stem from the goal of designing colorful, unique, and beautiful scarves that convey a message all their own. This is always our starting point for each of our designs. We aim to shed a bit of colorfulness, positivity, beauty, and joy to our customers.

Buy less, buy better! Mookaite believes in the Slow Fashion business model and ethical manufacturing. We are convinced that buying less and better is not only socially good but also planet friendly. We would like to contribute as much as possible to a more sustainable way of consumption in the fashion industry. We invite our clients to invest in products that are sustainable, that bring joy, and are designed and produced with the highest care.

We strive to produce quality products produced locally in Europe.

We are also looking closely into ways of including; upcycling and recycling our products to make sure that we avoid waste and harm to our planet.
